Sole Treadmills Review

How Do These Units Compare To Other Equipment on the Market?

Put simply, you really can't go wrong with Sole treadmills. No matter which model you choose, you're getting quality construction backed by a very solid warranty.

The design is purposely simple, and they are easy to move, store and use. The company, Sole Fitness, has been around for a number of years and they continue to improve upon their treadmills every year.

Perhaps a testament to their usability is the fact that they are used exclusively by various hotel chains for something called In Room Fitness, a program that allows you to have a treadmill in your hotel room when you travel. At the moment, Hilton and Omni Hotels both feature the option of having a Sole treadmill in the privacy of your room.

If you're looking for one for your home however, you have a choice of folding and non-folding. Your folding options include the F63, F80, F83 and F85, ranging in price from $999 to $1999. You non-folding options include the S73, S77 and TT8.

As far as where to purchase these quality treadmills, your best bet is to visit the official Sole Treadmills site, as they offer discounts you won't find at retail stores, and free shipping.

How Does The Sole Treadmill Compare To Others?

There are definitely fancier treadmills on the market, with more bells and whistles. Yet when it comes down to it, all that really matter is that the machine gives you a good workout, is easy to use and store, and is built to last.

Sole treadmills succeed on all of those counts. There are a number of companies that make good treadmills, including Smooth Fitness, Landice and Trotter, but if you look at their product offerings as a whole you can't find anything wrong with Sole's exercise equipment. Their ellipticals are good as well.

Bottom Line: If you can find a model that appeals to you, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Fitness Events Opinion & Recommendation:

Treadmills are something that you own for a long time, especially if they're well made and you keep them in "running" shape.

That said, if you can, always opt for a model that is a step up from the base to get the very best you can. The few hundred dollars extra spread out over 10, 20, 30 years is really nothing if you think about it.

As far as folding models, opt for the Sole F80 model or higher. This gives you more horsepower, which is important, a larger speed range, larger running deck and other added features. Take a look at the Sole folding treadmills here.

If you don't need a folding model, go for the S77 or TT8, which feature a higher HP than the base model and additional special features. Take a look at the Sole non-folding treadmills here.
